By Dick Collins:
Spring is a flirt in a flowered gown
Kind of girl I would take to town
For an evening date at a dance or a show
And kiss a little and let her go.
Fall is a friend with warm brown eyes
Kind of a girl who would sympathize
With all my cares and understand
And only expext me to hold her hand.
Winter is wise and strong and free
Kind of girl I would take with me
On a skiing trip to a high white hill
Where I could bask in her greater skill.
But blue eyed summer is the girl I prize
She’s sweet and trusting and not too wise
And if she’s the wife I think she’ll be
Then I can go out with the other three!
